Travel Drive Service

The right service for your travel drive

Travel drives, travel gearboxes, and travel motors for excavators, midi excavators, and mini excavators are high-quality products designed to operate under harsh conditions, making them susceptible to significant wear and tear. Therefore, they must be regularly inspected and maintained.

Do you also have issues with your travel drive? Not sure how to inspect or maintain it? Need expert advice? We are here to help.

On the following pages, we cover routine maintenance procedures. In the menu on the left, you will find tips on the most frequently asked questions regarding travel drives, repairs, and replacements, as well as guidance on correct identification and connection of hydraulic lines.

Routine travel drive maintenance

Always follow the specifications provided by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), if available. The manufacturer’s instructions contain valuable information that will help you prevent gearbox issues in the future.

The advice we provide is general and may not cover all working conditions or specific applications.

Service intervals

Regularly check the oil level of your track drive, preferably once a month. If the construction machine is used intensively, check the oil level more frequently and top it up if necessary.

We recommend performing the following maintenance tasks every 250-500 operating hours or at least once a year, depending on the usage of the travel drive or track drive.

We will be happy to help you.
